CS223 – 1 Running LINUX With A Bootable Thumb Drive

This video was created for students in my Linux command line class. In this video the students learn how to create a bootable thumb drive that can be used to run Linux on a computer without performing a permanent install. This is optional, as students can already use their accounts on the CBC Linux server for practicing commands. The information and web sites in this video may be dated. If so, do an Internet search for something like “creating bootable Linux thumb drive”.
