This video was created for students in my college Linux Administration class (at Tonysako.com). Students will learn how Windows queries a local DNS host file prior to sending asking the primary DNS server to resolve a DNS name. Students will then learn how to edit and use this file to access pages on their Linux web server using a name instead of an IP address.
