CS114 HTML (Web Publishing 1)

Section 13 - Adding JavaScript, Java, Flash and other code

In this section you will learn how to add programming code to your HTML/XHTML pages using a couple different elements. However, you will NOT learn much about writing the JavaScript or Java. Those subjects are large enough to require their own classes, and that's assuming that you already know how to program. Flash is even more difficult, as it combines programming code with animation. I do teach a Flash class.

  1. Using the script element to add JavaScript code (video 13a1)
  2. Using event handlers like onClick to add JavaScript code (video 13a2)
  3. Using the object element to add Java code (XXX Need video)
  4. Using the object element to add Flash Animations (XXX Need video)
