CS122 PC Hardware 2

The Intel Education Site gives a great amount of background on PCs, CPUs, and the basics of electronics. It's meant for younger kids, so some of it is a little simplified, but it still provides a good explanation of many things you need to know. Read the site, and watch the videos in the following sections: Introduction to Computers, Circuits and Switches, Digital Information and Microprocessors. The Internet and Technology and Society sections are optional.

Take these A+ practice tests. I don't expect you to know all, or maybe even any of the answers at this point. I just want you to experience what the A+ tests are like. Also, these are older versions of the tests, so some of the questions are about older hardware. Practice hardware test. Practice O/S test.
